Victor Mota

Serving as the youngest member of Mariachi Flor del Desierto, Victor Mota is a 15-year-old musician whose love for Mexican music began at Bunche Elementary. He first picked up the guitar in 6th grade, discovered the vihuela in 7th, and moved to his primary instrument, the guitarrón, in 8th. He has been performing mariachi since, as well as composing original pieces.

In 2025, Victor opened for Alejandro Fernandez with his high school group at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center.

When Victor is not playing mariachi, he can be seen performing at local restaurants, performing with his sierreño group, or recording his own solo project.

Since his arrival to the group in 2025, Victor has become a pivotal member in Mariachi Flor del Desierto.
